Badar Ahmed

Badar is the Vice President of Engineering at Palo Alto Networks, where he leads Prisma AIRS, the industry leading AI Security platform. A category pioneer, he joined Palo Alto Networks via the acquisition of Protect AI, the foundational AI security startup he co-founded. Previously, Badar was a driving force behind Oracle Cloud’s inaugural AI/ML services. His career in high-performance systems began at Caltech, where he built the petabyte-scale data infrastructure for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC)—work that contributed to the Nobel Prize-winning discovery of the Higgs boson.
