Sharon Maydar

Sharon Maydar is the Vice President of Unit 42 Managed Services at Palo Alto Networks, where she directs the strategy and operations for Unit 42’s managed security offerings. She leads the teams responsible for delivering 24/7 detection and response capabilities, including the development and expansion of Unit 42 MDR and the recent launch of Managed XSIAM. Under her leadership, the division has scaled significantly to support global enterprise security needs and has consistently achieved top-tier placement in independent industry benchmarks. With over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, Sharon has held senior R&D and product leadership roles at both startups and established enterprises, and holds a B.Sc. in Engineering.
